Tricia Adams / General Manager, Co-Owner
Tricia and her husband Dean founded Lakemore Retreat back in 2015, combining his talents as a builder, and her love of design. For years Tricia managed Lakemore Retreat as a side job to her Neonatal Intensive Care nursing career. After 15+ years in healthcare, she retired from nursing to expand the Lakemore Brand. Since purchasing the property, known formerly as Mac’s Landing, she has overseen the Design, Development, Sales and Guest Relations of Lakemore Resort. Additionally, she acts as Co-Founder and Marketing Director of Bay Area Contracting and BAC Design Group, the firms she co-owns with Dean, that also designed and built Lakemore. Together, they have 3 children, and they cherish their time together on the lake, in the mountains and traveling the world. She also rarely misses the many sporting events her children participate in. Her mission for Lakemore is to provide a luxurious lakefront property that provides effortless vacations for families who cherish their time together, just as she does with her family.
McKenzie Schwartz / Assistant General Manager
Meet McKenzie Schwartz, the new Assistant General Manager at Lakemore Resort! McKenzie is passionate about making sure guests feel right at home, enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer, and that no detail is overlooked—providing top-tier service and maintaining pristine, clean homes. Having spent most of her life in Michigan, she absolutely adores the unmatched beauty of the Great Lakes. Before joining Lakemore Resort, McKenzie honed her skills in sales and high-level servicing with Hagerty's Private Client Service Team. Outside of work, you’ll often find her spending time with her husband and their golden mountain doodle, Bentley (her true love). Whether she’s fishing in their little pond (she admits she’s not the best fisher, but she loves it!), enjoying a bonfire on the beach, or planning the next big adventure, McKenzie makes the most of every moment. Her love for Michigan shines through in everything she does, from her work to her play!
